Term 4 is going by so fast!

Wow isn't the term just zooming by! We are still working hard in class and have been practicing for our cultural performance in week 8.

This week we got to go swimming!! It was a nice sunny day and we got the chance to splash around in the pool. Here are some photos:

For our writing this week Miss T helped us create magic experiments! These were amazing!
We watched a volcano disappear and create a dinosaur, we saw a christmas tree grow pompoms, we watched a volcano explode and we grew sea monkeys!!

We look forward to seeing everyone at our Cultural Performance on Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th of December.

What have we been up to in Week 4?

Wow the term is flowing by real fast!

Next week we are going on a trip to the Auckland Museum so make sure you have all brought back your permission slip form to be able to go. The Awesome Owl teachers are looking forward to going.

For writing this week, we were looking at the new playground being built. We made a few visits to see the progress and took lots of pictures. We even got to draw our own playground with what we wish the school could build. Lastly, we got to make our own diggers, trucks and cranes that could help the playground being built. Have a look at our learning story!

Discovery time was also a blast! We are still working on space and using our Habits of Mind to help us discover these. Here are some pictures from today:

We were making stars for our mobile.

Room 1 was painting the planets for their solar system.
